Went down to town run an errand today, and while I was at the orchard mrt control station I got approached by this guy who claimed to be a model scout. He introduced himself as Dick(of all names), and he gave me a namecard that has the company name "IMIPTELTD" printed on it. He told me that the company that he works for is a prominent modeling agency that recruits talents to appear to in advertisements and commercials. He asked for my particulars and number(of which most info are null), and promptly thanked me for my time. I almost wanted to say to the guy ,"Eh, you have got good taste man!" Hahahas, kidding!
Well though I was a little flattered, I had my feet on the ground and I thought rationally. Most of these talent-scouting companies are usually out to make a quick buck out of the unwitting "talents". They make you go to their office, then proceed to make you sign alot of documents that make you pay cold hard cash for the supposed "training" and "all-related fees". Haha, so at the end of the day I am not going to get caught in the euphoria of worldly praises. The most satisfying praise comes only from the God above!
Oh, and I forgot to mention that the modelling agency has their HQ at Park Mall! Haha, would love to go and check it out.
Anyway, slightly later on I had a few game of DOTA with Liane, Gabriel and Dale at Netzspiel. It was fun, and I stopped short of saying that the session was a target practice. Haha, just kidding, I'm not that mean! Would love to have a game with them again!
